📝 Ingredients

  • 8 (1.5-oz.) pkgs. chocolate-covered peanut butter cups (16 peanut butter cups total), divided
  • 1 (14-oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 pkg. (2-layer-size) chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup salted butter, sliced into 24 pieces
  • 1/4 cup salted peanuts, chopped
  • Chocolate fudge topping (optional)
  • Vanilla ice cream (optional)

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Coat a 3-qt. baking dish with cooking spray. Arrange 12 of the peanut butter cups in a single layer in prepared baking dish. Drizzle sweetened condensed milk over peanut butter cups.
  2. Sprinkle cake mix evenly overtop. Drizzle heavy cream evenly over the cake mix.
  3. Arrange butter pieces over cake mix. Bake until set, 40 to 45 minutes. Remove and cool slightly on a wire rack.
  4. While cake is still warm, chop the remaining 4 peanut butter cups and sprinkle over cake. Top with chopped peanuts. Serve warm or cool completely. Drizzle with chocolate-fudge topping and serve with vanilla ice cream, if desired.
