📝 Ingredients

  • 4 (5 or 6 ounce) salmon fillets
  • 1 bunch green onions
  • 1 medium or large jalapeño
  • 1 cup low-sodium soy sauce

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Place 4 salmon fillets in a broiler-safe 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Slice green onions; transfer to a bowl. Cut jalapeños lengthwise, remove seeds, and dice; combine with jalapeños. Place green onion mixture on top of fillets until salmon tops are filled and mixture is falling off.
  3. Pour soy sauce directly over fillets; marinate at room temperature for no more than 30 minutes. A thin layer of soy sauce should pool in the bottom of the baking dish.
  4. Set an oven rack in the middle position and preheat the oven's broiler.
  5. Place the dish in the preheated broiler; broil until green onions and jalapeños are crispy and brown and the salmon breaks apart easily, 10 to 12 minutes.
