A weeknight favorite or a game day essential, pulled pork nachos are always a Southern favorite. By Katie Rosenhouse Updated on September 23, 2025
Pulled Pork Nachos Variations
To change up these nachos based on your preferences or what you have on hand, consider these ingredient swaps and additions:
Refried black beans: Use whole black beans, refried pinto beans, or other beans as desired.
Shredded smoked pork: Swap the pork for shredded rotisserie chicken, cooked chorizo, ground beef, or even sauteed mushrooms for a vegetarian version.
Cheese: Use Cheddar, Monterey Jack, Pepper Jack, or other melty cheeses you love.
Toppings: Offer a variety of toppings, from guacamole to Mexican crema, pico de gallo, halved cherry tomatoes, sliced jalapeños, pickled red onions, parsley, green onions, and more.
How To Store and Reheat Leftover Nachos
If you happen to have any leftover nachos, refrigerate in an airtight container for up to two days, storing fresh toppings separately if possible. Reheat on a lined baking sheet at 400°F until hot throughout to help revive the texture before serving.
